Paul is currently the managing editor at the Oakland Post and, in prior years, has held positions as a section editor, assistant news editor and senior reporter. He is majoring in journalism and minoring in political science, and is scheduled to graduate in December of 2009. Paul is also doing freelance work for Metromix.com.

Lindsey Wojcik

Mix/Scene Editor
Lindsey is a junior journalism major at Oakland University. She started out as contributing reporter at The Oakland Post in October 2006. She became the local editor June 2007 and in September 2007, she took over the You section. Lindsey has since moved on to section editor of The Scene and The Mix as of January 2008. She has aspired to be a journalist since she was 14 years old. Upon graduating from OU, she plans to move to New York City to write.

Nick Degel

Nick is a journalism major and a senior at Oakland University. He began contributing for The Oakland Post in the winter of 2007 and became a staff member last semester as a senior reporter. Nick is also the music director for DetroitFashionPages.com.

Rob Tate

Assistant Sports Editor
Rob is a senior journalism major, graduating in May 2008. He has written sports and general assignments at The Oakland Post since 2006. In September 2007 he was promoted to assistant sports editor and covers Oakland University sports; mainly men's soccer and women's basketball as well as designing and editing pages. Rob is also currently interning at The Oakland Press as a high school sports stringer.

Senior Reporter
Jesse is the campus life reporter for The Oakland Post. He's been with The Post since he started as a contributing reporter in the Fall 2006 semester, his first at OU. Prior to that, he attended St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, where he was editor-in-chief of the Erie Square Gazette, the student paper. He is a journalism major and currently wants nothing beyond the ability to write things and earn money for it.

Brittany is a senior journalism major at Oakland University and is anxiously anticipating graduation in May. She began writing for the Oakland Post as a contributing reporter in September 2006, covering hockey and a variety of other sports. Prior to the start of this school year, she was promoted to senior reporter and still writes primarily sports. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys reading, traveling, watching hockey and playing with her puppy.

Stacie L. Bartman is a senior majoring in integrative studies; concentration in journalism, communications and health studies. She is a staff intern for The Oakland Post and also writes the health column for the online edition. Having worked in the medical field for several years; She brings knowledge and experience from emergency medicine, holistic, chiropractic medical assistant and physical therapy. She has also been a CPR Instructor for the American Heart Association since, 2004.

Graphics Asst. Ads Manager
Celeste Filiatrault is a journalism major and studio art minor. She was formally the biweekly sexual health columnist. Filiatrault is a freelance web designer and graphic artist. She maintains ArcPontiac.com and The Society of Professional Journalists | Metropolitan Detroit Web sites. It is her dream to further the development of CERN (European Center for Nuclear Research), the world's largest particle physics laboratory in effort to better understand the universe through particle acceleration research. After she graduates, she plans on living in Thailand and Tibet indefinitely.

Crystal Nelson has been with The Oakland Post's advertising department for two years. She started out as an advertising assistant before becomming lead advertising manager last summer. While at The Oakland Post she has worked on creating a media kit and fostered other special projects including The Oakland Post's first ever 'Best of' issue. Crystal is a journalism major and studio art minor. She plans on pursuing a career in journalism and is currently exploring her options of potential career paths. She was an editorial intern at after5detroit.com this past summer and is currently working as an advertising intern for Hour Media. Crystal will graduate in May 2008.

Maria is a senior at OU majoring in Communications and minoring in Journalism. She has been with the Post for two years. She started out as a Contributing Reporter, then was a Senior Reporter and this year decided to try something new and join the Ads department where she is an Assistant Ads Manager. She believes it's been a fun ride and the Post is truly a great home away from home. Maria will be graduating in May, getting married in September and hopes to find a fun and lucrative career somewhere in the midst of all that.
